IELTS uses a 9-band scoring system to report test scores. You receive individual band scores for Reading, Listening, Writing and Speaking and an Overall Band Score on a band scale being the average

For taking the IELTS exam, your minimum age should be at least 16 years and you must have a valid passport.
Within six weeks of the test date, you can apply for a re-mark, known as an Enquiry on Results. You are required to pay an enquiry fee, which when your band score changes will be refunded to you.
